Maipu Wine Bike Experience
Enjoy a full-day self-guided experience through the city of Maipú and its wine-growing area, cycling independently between wineries and gastronomic stops.
At Maipu Bikes, we provide the bicycle, helmet, maps and all the information you need for your day. Before departure, our team explains the circuit, its usual winery stops and the recommendations for riding between them.
We arrange and coordinate the visits, tastings and lunch included in this experience. You cycle independently between the scheduled stops, without having to book the included activities yourself.

Approx. 14 km through the city of Maipú and its wine-growing area, connecting wineries and gastronomic stops.
The roads between the wineries
Maipú combines vineyards and wineries with its everyday urban surroundings. These real photos show some of the cycling environment along the route.
Traffic and road conditions
The route is mostly flat, but it is not a traffic-free countryside ride entirely through vineyards. Maipú’s wineries and vineyards share the area with residential streets and urban activity. Most of the circuit uses bike lanes alongside roads with regular traffic, including cars, motorcycles, buses and trucks. Some winery access roads have no dedicated bike lanes and are shared with vehicles. Open irrigation ditches run alongside parts of the route, and road surfaces may be uneven. Good bicycle handling and confidence riding near traffic are essential.

The route shown corresponds to the usual circuit. Due to operational circumstances, schedule changes, exceptional closures or other unforeseen situations, we may modify the order, reorganize the itinerary or replace a stop with an available alternative. If necessary, we will let you know.
The experience
Winery exterior and two-wine tasting
Explore the exterior of the winery, access the vineyard and visit the Gift Shop. Enjoy a non-guided tasting of exactly 2 glasses of wine: 1 glass of Lateral (75 ml) and 1 glass of Gran Medalla (75 ml).
Guided visit and wine tasting
Enjoy a guided visit of Viña El Cerno winery followed by a tasting of three varietal wines.
Lunch with a vineyard view
Enjoy a four-course lunch paired with wines at Mevi’s restaurant, with a view of the vineyard. Vegetarian, gluten-free and vegan options are available. The menu may vary according to the current offering. The vibe is relaxed and casual, biker style: you arrive by bike, in your riding clothes, and that’s exactly the point. It’s not a Michelin-star restaurant, but that doesn’t stop it from being a tasty meal, with good wine and vineyard views.
Olive oil and regional products tasting
Taste olive oil, jams and liqueurs, accompanied by one glass of wine at Entre Olivos.

Reservations
Maipu Bikes arranges and coordinates all included activities, including the guided visit and tasting at Viña El Cerno and lunch at Mevi. You do not need to book these stops separately. Exact activity times depend on the confirmed schedule.
Recommended start time
We recommend starting between 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM to enjoy the visits, tastings and lunch at a comfortable pace. Return the bicycle to Maipu Bikes before 6:00 PM.
Weather
This is an outdoor cycling activity. In case of rain, Zonda wind or other weather conditions that make the activity unsafe or unfeasible, the experience may be cancelled or rescheduled. When possible, we will notify you in advance and offer rescheduling or the corresponding refund according to the booking conditions.

En Maipu Bikes te entregamos la bicicleta, el casco, mapas y la información necesaria para tu día. Antes de salir, nuestro equipo te explica el circuito, las paradas habituales en bodegas y las recomendaciones para trasladarte entre ellas.
Nos encargamos de reservar y coordinar las visitas, degustaciones y el almuerzo incluidos en esta experiencia. Vos pedaleás de forma independiente entre las paradas organizadas, sin tener que reservar esas actividades por tu cuenta.

Aproximadamente 14 km por la ciudad de Maipú y su zona vitivinícola, conectando bodegas y espacios gastronómicos.
Los caminos entre las bodegas
En Maipú conviven viñedos y bodegas con la vida cotidiana de la ciudad. Estas fotografías reales muestran parte del entorno por donde se pedalea.
Tránsito y condiciones del recorrido
El recorrido es mayormente plano, pero no es un paseo rural libre de tránsito ni transcurre exclusivamente entre viñedos. En Maipú, las bodegas y los viñedos conviven con barrios residenciales y actividad urbana. Gran parte del circuito utiliza ciclovías junto a calles con circulación habitual de autos, motos, colectivos y camiones. Algunos accesos a bodegas no tienen ciclovías exclusivas y se comparten con vehículos. Hay acequias abiertas junto a sectores del recorrido y el pavimento puede presentar irregularidades. Es fundamental manejar bien la bicicleta y sentirse cómodo pedaleando cerca del tránsito.
Cambios operativos
El recorrido indicado corresponde al circuito habitual. Por circunstancias operativas, cambios de horario, cierres excepcionales u otras situaciones imprevistas, podemos modificar el orden, reorganizar el itinerario o reemplazar alguna parada por una alternativa disponible. Si fuera necesario, te informaremos.

Exterior de la bodega y degustación de dos vinos
Recorrés el exterior de la bodega, accedés al viñedo y visitás el Gift Shop. Disfrutás una degustación no guiada de 2 copas de vino: 1 copa de Lateral de 75 ml y 1 copa de Gran Medalla de 75 ml.
Visita guiada y degustación
Disfrutás una visita guiada por la bodega Viña El Cerno seguida de una degustación de tres vinos varietales.
Almuerzo con vista al viñedo
Disfrutás un almuerzo de cuatro pasos acompañado por vinos en el restaurante de Mevi, con vista al viñedo. Hay opciones vegetarianas, sin TACC y veganas. El menú puede variar según la propuesta vigente. El ambiente es relajado y descontracturado, en modo biker: llegás en bici, con la ropa del recorrido, y así está perfecto. No es un restaurante de la Guía Michelin, pero eso no quita que se disfrute de una comida rica, bien acompañada y con vista a los viñedos.
Degustación de aceite de oliva y productos regionales
En Entre Olivos disfrutás una degustación de aceite de oliva, mermeladas y licores, acompañada por una copa de vino.

Horario recomendado de inicio
Recomendamos comenzar entre las 10:00 y las 11:30 para disfrutar sin apuros de las visitas, degustaciones y el almuerzo. Devolvé la bicicleta en Maipu Bikes antes de las 18:00.
Clima
Esta es una actividad al aire libre y en bicicleta. En caso de lluvia, viento Zonda u otras condiciones climáticas que hagan que la actividad sea insegura o inviable, la experiencia puede cancelarse o reprogramarse.
