🚖 Option 1: How to Get to the Maipú Wine Route by Taxi, Uber or Cabify (The Fastest Way)

If you’re looking for the fastest and most convenient option, taxis as well as ride-sharing services like Uber and Cabify work very well in Mendoza.

The trip from downtown Mendoza to Maipu Bikes usually takes between 15 and 20 minutes, depending on traffic.

If you’re traveling with family or friends, this is often an excellent choice since you can split the cost of the ride.

🚌 📍 Option 2: How to Get to the Maipú Wineries by Bus

The Best Balance Between Price and Convenience

For most travelers, the public bus is the most affordable way to reach Maipu Bikes.

The most common departure point is on Rioja Street, between Catamarca and Garibaldi streets, in downtown Mendoza. Several bus lines leave from this area and stop directly in front of our shop.

Our Recommendation

If possible, choose bus lines 816, 817 or 920.

These are express services with fewer stops and usually reach Maipu Bikes in 25 to 30 minutes.

Bus lines 810, 811, 812 and 813 also stop directly in front of our shop, but they follow the regular route and usually take 40 to 45 minutes.

Where Should I Get Off?

Bus lines 810, 811, 812, 813, 816, 817 and 920 all stop directly in front of Maipu Bikes.

As soon as you get off the bus, you’ll immediately recognize our shop by the large wine bottle with the Argentine flag, where your bicycle will be waiting to begin your adventure along the Maipú Wine Route.

Payment Method

In Mendoza, you can pay for public transportation with a physical or digital SUBE card and, depending on the service and available validator, also with credit or debit cards and NFC-enabled devices.

As a tip, make sure you load enough credit for at least two trips per person before starting your day.

🚈 Option 3: How to Get to the Maipú Wine Route by Metrotram and Bus

If taking the Mendoza Metrotram is more convenient from your location, you can easily combine it with a bus to reach Maipu Bikes.

You can board the Metrotram at Central Station, located on Belgrano Avenue, or at any station along the line.

Ride to Gutiérrez Station, the final stop toward Maipú.

When you leave the station, you’ll find the stop for Bus 812, which continues directly to Maipu Bikes and drops passengers in front of our shop.

The Metrotram ride takes approximately 35 minutes, while Bus 812 takes around 10 additional minutes.

Both the Metrotram and the bus use the SUBE card as the payment method.
